This Privacy Policy describes how Dales Painting and Repair (doing business as Dales Painting & Mold Restoration; "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our website at dalespaintingandmoldrestoration.com (the "Site"). We provide mold restoration, painting, and home repair services across Brunswick County, Wilmington, NC, and Little River, SC.

The form also includes a hidden honeypot field used only to help reduce spam submissions. Legitimate visitors should leave that field blank; it is not used for marketing.

How estimate submissions are processed

Estimate requests are sent through Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service. Web3Forms receives the form fields you submit and delivers them to us (typically by email). Their handling of data is also governed by their own privacy policy and terms. We do not operate a custom backend database on this Site for form storage.

Hosting and other third parties

The Site is hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers may process technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and basic server logs) needed to deliver the Site securely. We have not added a separate Vercel Analytics product that we control on this Site.

The Site may reference publicly available Google reviews or rating information. If you follow a link to Google or another third-party site, that site's own privacy practices apply. We do not control those services.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics loads only when (1) a Measurement ID is configured for this Site and (2) you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Until a Measurement ID is configured, no Google Analytics script runs. We do not use advertising pixels or other marketing trackers that we control.

What we do use:

• Essential preference storage: when you respond to our cookie banner, we store your choice in your browser's localStorage so the banner does not reappear on every visit. That storage is necessary for the preference feature itself.
• Optional analytics (when configured): Google Analytics (gtag) may collect anonymous usage data such as pages viewed. It only runs after Accept, and IP anonymization is enabled in our configuration.
• Hosting / infrastructure: Vercel and related network services may set or use technical cookies or similar technologies as part of delivering and securing the Site.
